Cr-48 Awesomeness

Two days ago, a mystery package showed up on the front doorstep. It was heavy and from Louisville. It wasn't opened until the next day.

IT WAS MY CR-48 CHROME OS NETBOOK! Which I'm currently using to type out this post.

I didn't think I stood any chance at all when I signed up... but it turns out that Google has a lot of these. So I got one.

It's about the coolest thing ever. Only real complaint so far is that there's no Java, so I can't play Runescape (which, I suppose, most people wouldn't complain about.)

Google Chrome

My thoughts on Chrome: awesome!!
It handles everyting nicely with a minimal UI. I was surprised that it didn't support Java, though.

What surprised me even more was that it didn't support Lively, Google's own project!

It has only frozen up a few times, but each time it recovered by itself.
